Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

This Sunday’s Gospel is taken from the holy book of John where Jesus was explaining to his disciples during the last supper, about Him and the Father being one. Jesus said to them “I am the Way I am Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father too. From this moment you know him and have seen him.”
Jesus at that moment was sending his disciples to bring forth the good news to the people. The message that; through Jesus we are saved because whoever believes in him will have eternal life and also, we are told to not let our hearts be troubled. By reflecting deeper through the Gospel, we can say that Jesus is sending us forth to be more faithful and hopeful especially on this time of pandemic not only to ourselves but also to spread positivity all around us. We are tasked to be the messengers of good news even in the midst of this trying times. These are difficult times where everywhere, we receive bad news of people dying every day and more and more people are affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. We are surrounded by negativity and it is tasked to us that we spread positivity and good news from our lord Jesus.
We the youth must keep our faith strong because Jesus assures us that he will never leave us alone. We must continue praying that this storm will be over soon. We must trust God’s plan in this time and continue to listen to his word and to be instruments of faith in our own little ways.
