We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4: 19

In this Gospel, I understand that we should love everyone and everything around us. But more importantly it is loving God above all. We can't love something or someone more than we love God because He is our source of love. That's why we need to be faithful to him and only him. He wants us to love him more than anything and anyone in this world. Because in this world, everything we see, we own or we have are only temporary. But God and his love for us will always remain. He will never be temporary. He will always be there for us, no matter what. -Toni Grey

“Be strong and steadfast; do not be afraid or dismayed because of the king of Assyria and all the horde coming with him, for there is more with us than with him. 2 Chronicles 32:7

In today's Gospel, it talks about how we should let go of our fear because we are in the hands of our loving Father. In the Gospel, the Apostles have a mission in proclaiming the good news of Jesus, but Jesus warned them that proclaiming His word is not as easy as they think. There will be a lot of oppressions that will come before them but Jesus told them"Do not be afraid" for there is nothing concealed that are will not be revealed and there are no secrets that will not be known. The message that they have listened to and received from him they are to speak with boldness. Jesus assures the apostles that they have no reason to be afraid because they are in Gods hand. The heavenly Father's loving care is not only in big battles like Doctors in hospital who are helping to fight this Covid19 pandemic but also in the smallest details of our lives. Our problems in the family, our concers in the future, our mistakes, nightmares, tragedies, these are all in our Gods han

"I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6

In this Gospel, it speaks about the call to keep the commandments of God and to remember the way that God has led us these years of living and wandering our life. Remembering is essential, and God modeled that for us. He wants us to cherish him and all his doings not only in the dull times but also in our victorious times. God gives us understandings of why He wants us to experience all this. The results of this are seen and felt by all of us who are alive today: Suffering. Many have been puzzled by the suffering we see in our world. The question is often asked, "If God is all-powerful and all-good, why does He allow suffering?" It is because He is testing us. With that said, what is the purpose of these? Time of testing. A test that never comes at a convenient time. This explains that God was examining us for Him to know how powerful our faith and loyalty. God also wants to perceive what is in our hearts, whether we would fulfill His commandments or not. That is why He de

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the holy Spirit. Apostle to the Gentiles. Romans 15:13

For today's gospel, it talks about how God sent us his only son Jesus and if we do believe in him. The Gospel reading is very familiar to us. Jesus came so we can all know God's love. God loves the world so much that He gave His only begotten son to save us. God loves you more than you can imagine and He wants us to have an eternal life. In our situation right now, the CoViD-19 pandemic will truly test how strong our faith is. In our personal problems and in this pandemic we can really ask, is God making a way to save us? Should I still believe in him? Little do we know, God is in control, these are just challenges in life wherein we should not give up. As it was said in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" We should have faith that we can get through these trials with the help of the Holy Spirit who will enlighten and guide us. Remember that God will
